April 1958 fand die erste Veranstaltung f\u00fcr interessierte Mitglieder in Geilenkirchen statt.<br \/>Wenig sp\u00e4ter wurde der LSV Geilenkirchen e.V. (damals noch LSV Selfkant e.V.) gegr\u00fcndet.<br \/>Dieses Jubil\u00e4um haben wir an diesem Tage in unserer Motorflughalle bei uns auf dem Flugplatz gefeiert.<br \/>Drei Besonderheiten sollte man hier hervorheben:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M\u00e4n Zaunbrecher als Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied war an diesem Tage auch da und hat mit uns gefeiert<\/li>\n<li>Frank Cox hat heute seine ersten 3 Alleinfl\u00fcge
